I bought this boompole for Zoom shotgun capsule. I hope for lightweight solution. I try to use it for more heavier microphones. It holds but a lot of noise come in from this boompole - not usable for booing at all. Locking mechanismus failed after few shooting. Money well wasted :(

My first boom pole and my first regret.
It's light, short and supposedly excellent for run and gun situations, documentaries and for people who are learning.
The problem is I haven't even used it on set and the twist locks already broke on me, rendering it less than ideal. Right now they are very squeaky and inconsistent. They lock sometimes and most times not so much. The whole twist lock mechanism looks pretty fragile.
My recommendation would be to buy the mini boom pole as is only 30 euros more expensive, but at least you are getting good quality locks.
