Excellent
Kendo Productions 27.11.2021
Everything on this stand oozes quality: fit and finish, the sleeves on the arms, the spring load that feels just right.
I use it with the Rode NT2A, with the Rode shock mount and its associated pop screen. This set up is seriously outside the weight limits set by Rode. But even extended, the mic just stays put.
Just be careful when you unpack it: the spring is strong!
Can't do wrong buying this.

A rock solid boom arm
Dynom 04.07.2022
I switched from a stand to a desk-mountable boom arm, because I went from a stationary desk to stand-desk. Adjusting the stand every time was cumbersome.

Now I can switch positions and keep the mic at a proper position. I can now quickly move the mic out of the way or reposition. The boom arm is silent, sturdy and comes with different fitting options. The desk clamp-mount is rock-solid and the arm fits snug into the mount.

It's exactly according to expectations. The only downsides I can think of is the large logo. I would've preferred a small subtle logo somewhere. It now screams Røde.

Title: Rode PSA1+ Review: Unparalleled Flexibility and Stability for Ultimate Broadcasting Experience
Anonymous 31.05.2023
Introduction:
As an aspiring podcaster and content creator, I understand the importance of having a reliable and versatile microphone arm. After extensive research, I decided to invest in the Rode PSA1+ microphone arm, known for its exceptional build quality and flexibility. In this user's review, I will share my experience with the Rode PSA1+, highlighting its key features, performance, and overall value.

Sturdy Build Quality:
Right out of the box, I was impressed by the solid construction of the Rode PSA1+. Made from durable materials, this microphone arm exudes a sense of reliability and longevity. The sleek black finish adds a touch of elegance to my setup, blending seamlessly with any aesthetic. The internal springs offer smooth and effortless movement, allowing me to position my microphone exactly where I need it without any annoying sagging or drooping.

Versatile and Adjustable Design:
One of the standout features of the Rode PSA1+ is its remarkable versatility and adjustability. The dual-axis swivel mount enables me to effortlessly adjust the arm's height, angle, and reach to suit my specific needs. Whether I'm sitting or standing, the microphone arm can be positioned at the perfect distance and angle, ensuring optimal audio capture. This flexibility is especially beneficial for long recording sessions, as it allows me to find the most comfortable position for extended use.

Exceptional Stability:
When it comes to microphone arms, stability is crucial. The Rode PSA1+ excels in this aspect, providing outstanding stability even when extended to its maximum length. The strong desk clamp securely holds the arm in place, preventing any unwanted movement or vibrations that could affect the sound quality. I appreciate the peace of mind knowing that my microphone is securely mounted and won't disrupt my recordings or live broadcasts.

Effortless Cable Management:
Cable management can be a hassle, but the Rode PSA1+ simplifies the process. The internal cable management system keeps the microphone cable neatly organized and hidden within the arm itself. This feature not only ensures a clutter-free workspace but also prevents any tangling or interference with the arm's movement. It's a small detail, but it makes a significant difference in maintaining a clean and professional setup.

Compatibility and Easy Installation:
Setting up the Rode PSA1+ was a breeze. The microphone arm is compatible with a wide range of microphones, including those with shock mounts or pop filters. The included desk clamp firmly attaches to my desk without requiring any additional tools, saving time and effort. The arm's flexibility allows me to position my microphone precisely where I need it, ensuring optimal audio quality during my recordings.

Conclusion:
The Rode PSA1+ microphone arm has exceeded my expectations in every aspect. Its sturdy build quality, exceptional stability, and versatile design have greatly enhanced my broadcasting experience. Whether I'm recording podcasts, live streaming, or conducting voiceovers, this microphone arm provides the reliability and flexibility I need for professional-quality audio. If you're a podcaster, content creator, or anyone seeking a high-quality microphone arm, the Rode PSA1+ is a worthwhile investment that will undoubtedly elevate your recording setup.

This Microphone Arm changed my life.
whocares 18.10.2022
This arm is by far the best I have seen and used!

I do a lot of Video-Calls, and some Podcasts/Audio/Video recording. In the past I have spend a lot of time trying to get my cheaper equipment to work. I tried different tripods and cheap mic arms. But the mic was always in the way, as soon as I touch the desk noise traveled through the mic-arm and every time I move the mic it takes ages makes a lot of noise.

All of the problems are gone now with this arm! It really has been a while since I was so in love with a product. I can move the mic up, down, left, right, with just my finger tip. It moves easy and without a noise. The Axis of the mic is kept even when moving up an down.
I can easily move it all out of the way when doing desk work and move it in position in a matter of seconds.
Together with the Rode Procaster this has solved all of my worries.
I cannot recommend this enough!

Strongest Mic Arm. End Of Story
SeamusLawlor 21.01.2022
I have a heavy condenser mic (in a cradle), and I wanted to use a broadcast/podcast mic arm to attach it to my desk. A friend convinced me to buy the Presonus (PBA2), but it just couldn't handle the weight of my mic at certain angles.

So I went with the Rode PSA+1 instead. Although it cost only €30 more...it's in a different league. I mean seriously, this thing is a beast! There's no weight it can't handle, and it feels like the sturdiest thing I've ever bought. Don't bother with any other podcast arm. This is brilliant

Recomend
Vladimia 05.10.2022
I enjoy it, more because all my equipment is Rode, but the functional difference over PSA1 is not that much. It's basically a better looking version over PSA1 but not innovation: structure is the same, except the mic mounting element and knobs, 2nd better on desk mount accessory and the cover sleeves. Overall, if you need to just mount on the side of the desk and not care too much about the looks, you can go with the PSA1 and save some cash for the Podmic :)

practical boom arm with anoingly bright branding
samwise77 25.02.2022
Good quality, but not a high end boom arm.
If you don't care about bright brand name on the arm and don't mind to pay extra for quality I would recommend it.

Great boom arm, but not optimal for touring or rehersals
Tom Frajer 24.07.2023
Nice microphone boom arm, looks professional, handles lightly and stays in place - no falling down or such a thigs - so it is perfectly usable, but... some stars down for parts falling down. When you mount it and it stays mounted, it shopuld be OK, but when you take it to rehersals multiple times a week it starts showing some problems - there was a screw with plastic part falling out and also I lost small gums that are placed on tightening bolt on base... these are minor things but from premium product I expect event the small things to be ironed out...
