It completely takes away the annoying and harmfull overtones in my basement. And it keeps attack, clarity and character. It is much, much more fun to drum now. Pricey, but in my case worth of it. I have a completely new drum now. Moon gels couldn't reach the dampening I needed in basement conditions. I bought all the sizes after trying the snare pad first. The cymbals I' ll try dampen myself with a cloat.
