Super thick padding, lots of handles
Bassmum 28.12.2023
This case seems great for my bass. I did carefully measure and it is quite neat over the lower bout and on bridge, but I think the padding will compact a little meaning it will be perfect. I like the reinforced 'feet' on the side as this was an area my old case got really worn though when constantly putting it down. Only minor thing I would change is ability to take back pack straps off as I have wheels and they might catch when I am sliding it into my car. Good size pockets for music, spare strings etc. and my snooker cue bow case fits in just fine. I like the colour too as it will stand out from my friends' plain black. I will probably add some fluorescent/reflective strips which would be helpful as I am often in carparks at night and worry when I put my bass down to load that someone will drive into it. (my friend usually stands guard). Not tried using the back pack straps but will be helpful when going up stairs when I can't wheel it. Edited to add the left hand back pack strap that unfastens to allow the zip to open sometimes pings open but seems to be ok so far.

The best option on the market
DanBassman 11.09.2023
If you try to observe the world of double bass cases, you will be disappointed on how far makers are from actual users of this cases-bassists. And how much they won’t for their product.
But Thomann managed to create a real masterpiece for an affordable price.
Nice looking, made from super durable material, case( firstly i was aware that cover could become dirty in a couple of days, as soon as the color is very light, but after almost a year of hard use, it doesn’t even require a cleaning).
For me the biggest point was the possibility to carry the bass on the back, as soon as I leave mostly in a city with difficult for bass wheel landscape. And this case is perfect for that.
The last, but not least, is quality:
The most important handles and parts are secure, but with some additional handles, that are not reinforced, you should be careful, also bow department is not very durable, but for this price quality is absolutely fair!
