I normally play with an 11-49 gauge strings on a telecaster in standard E, it gives me the power, dynamic and resistance that I look for on every guitar because of my nervous playing.
Lately, I decided to switch to standard D (for stoner purposes), and couldn't find the tension I needed to feel comfortable on a 12-52 GHS boomer strings set, it felt a bit like a 9-42 in E.
Not the case with this set : 12-56 in D is heavier than a 11-49 in E, but stil playable (I'm thin, but my hands are strong, and yes, women are happy with it), and I really like how it retains the highs that to me, were too present.
Ain't gonna lie, I didn't try another string set for my current setting, but I guess the 13-65 DR Stings set will be too heavy since this one feels like home to me.
Great set for a great price.
