In total I have 4 of these duo lyres, to hold several types of microphones. However, I don't really use them in Rycote blimps (at least not yet). I us them in my Rode Blimp Mk II (with a 3D printed adaptor to make them fit) to fit my Audio Technica BP4025 (front heavy) or my Rode NT4 (big and heavy) in my Rode Blimp. The standard lyres in that blimp can't support the mic in run and gun situations, so that's why I use this solution.
I also have used them in several DIY projects for weirder blimp or site specific setups where I wanted mic suspesion, including on a hydrophone stereo bar. As as long as you handle them with a bit of care, they last a long time, and they can withstand, within reason, a bit of abuse. Recommended.
