The mesh pad does everything it should. Its very quite and super thin so if you are travelling around it would be ideal. Tightening the mesh head can be a bit annoy as you have to get a wrench or a clamp to hold the nut while tightening with your key. My issue with the product is the price, at the end of the day its a mesh head with a rim, thats it. It doesn't justify the price. You can buy a mesh head and put it on a snare you don't use same thing way cheaper. In conclusion, Its a good product but just a bit expensive, if you're going on tour or space is an issue this is ideal.
