After 1 hour playing the cajon, the pad really don't make a big difference if you play with out it, you will have pain.
I don't recomended for long sessions.
the good thing? you remain seating in one position, don't slide over the cajon.

After 30 min of sitting on it, it felt like sitting on the wood again! After several uses, it took the shape of my ass, which i consider bad. I try to rotate it and switch it from time to time
