I love it.
I've installed it in an HSS Jackson and it really blew new life into it. I never found the neck single coil to really fit, tonally.
It was easy to install (if you consider soldering easy, that is), the wires were long enough to go from the neck position to all the places they needed to be, although it was a bit of a challenge to squeeze such a thick bundle through holes that were originally drilled with a two lead single coil in mind.
I have it coil split in the 4th position. I ended up settling on the inside coil of the little '59 in parallel with the mid single coil. The in-between tone is lovely; it really sounds like something in between the full humbucker and the mid single coil, with just a slight drop in volume.
I love the dark-yet-clear tone of the full humbucker. It complements nicely with the other two pickups, going from bright in the bridge to dark in the neck. And it manages to sound good with the tone rolled all the way off as well.
Volume-wise, it was a nice fit. It's a medium-output humbucker.
It's very nice when a pickup has adjustable pole pieces, I love tinkering with them.
I think it also came with schematics on how you can wire it, which is cool. I guess it can give you ideas.
I recommend this pickup to anyone who has a single coil in their neck position and, like me, want something more round-sounding instead.
