Rock Out Without Limits
tomekb 01.02.2024
First off, the sound quality is killer. It's crystal clear, with no annoying interference messing up your tunes. Plus, the digital setup means you can roam around the stage without worrying about losing signal. Total freedom, baby!

here's the really cool part – it's got a built-in tuner. Yeah, you heard that right. No need to lug around a separate tuner anymore. Just plug in, tune up, and you're good to go.

Say goodbye to cables and hello to wireless freedom. Trust me, you won't regret it.

Rock Solid
Clive Barnes 15.06.2023
After buying the new Shure GLXD16+ my first live show was at an outdoor festival. For the whole performance, a drone hovered over the audience at the front of the stage. Not once did I experience drop out or anything odd.
Since then I've gigged it several times and it's proven 100% reliable, incredibly easy to use and set up, and extremely well built.
I'd have absolutely no problem recommending this wireless system.

The best I've had so far!
iffybiffa 04.02.2024
Usually my wireless receiver is on top of amp with a cable to the pedalboard and then one back to the amp, but with this there’s just one wire going back to the amp. The real added bonus for me is that the battery for the guitar pack is rechargeable using USB-C, so no more 9V batteries and no more power outages mid-gig!

The pedal receiver is larger and heavier than expected but also extremely well built and sturdy. It was really easy to set up using the videos from Shure and was playing through it in about 5 mins. The sound is great through it and it fits nicely on my pedalboard. I have used it in my house and at one practice so far but I’m really impressed with the clarity and range, as well as one less cable. This will definitely be making it’s live debut very soon

N
Definitely recommend
Nasenokuk 06.02.2024
I knew this wireless transmitter would be better than the cheap versions I have tried, but it is next level good. The clarity and crispness shine with this system. I can't believe how good and clear it sounds. Seriously cannot tell the difference between this system and a guitar cord. Probably the best wireless out there for the money and convenience of a pedal. Easy to use, rugged, sounds great, and has every feature you can think of. The system is plug and play! Set the receiver on the board, charge the transmitter and link the two... DONE. Great 'cabled' tone and super easy to use. Nice that I no longer worry about dealing with cables!

Rock solid construction, top quality sound
paulbettany777 06.02.2024
After using other wireless systems in the past which either ate AA batteries or lacked range and suffered from interference, I needed a system which was both rechargeable and had decent range. And the Shure GLXD16+ has it all.
Its metal construction of both the pedal and the guitar pack are both rock solid and will last for years. The pedal fits nicely on your pedalboard and has a built in tuner, so can also replace your tuner pedal if required. The Shure guitar pedal has a handy input jack if you wanted to just plug your guitar into your pedalboard and not use wireless for some reason, but with around 11 hours of charge on the guitar pack, its got plenty of power for soundchecks, gigs and plenty more.
The clip on the guitar pack does seem a bit on the flimsy side, however its holding out OK so far, but it might need a strap pouch to hold the pack at some point. The cable is also good quality, however I have bought a spare cable just in case of emergencies.
With the system using both 2.4Ghz and 5.8Ghz, I'm yet to suffer any dropouts, either with other wireless systems in the band or from interference from wi-fi, mobiles etc.
Whilst it might not be the cheapest system around, in terms of quality and features, its second to none. I'd definitely recommend checking it out - you wont be disappointed.

It's worth every cent!
Raducanu Florian 07.02.2024
This wireless system proved invaluable in two critical moments during my bass guitar performances. In a crowded concert, the seamless connectivity between the receiver and transmitter ensured a clear, interference-free sound, keeping the audience engaged. Additionally, the quick-charging battery saved me during a short break between acts, providing enough power for an extra set. This system has proven to be a reliable companion, adding significant value to my live musical experience.

Y
An excellent bit of kit
Yuvpro 09.02.2024
I was a skeptic of wireless guitar systems for a long time. Concerns about latency and potential signal dropouts made me cling to traditional cables. However, after numerous recommendations, I decided to try the Shure GLXD16+.

Its design impressed me immediately. The pedal-format receiver fits comfortably on my pedalboard. The ability to mute my signal discreetly for tuning even during live sets has been a excellent experience.

I was most apprehensive about audio quality, but the delivers surprisingly transparent sound. No audible latency, just my guitar's natural tone transmitted perfectly.

Where the GLXD16+ shines is in its freedom. Untethered on stage, that extra mobility adds an undeniable comfort. Plus, the system's range and reliability surpass expectations. The long battery life is excellent, and its clear indicators mean I'm never surprised with an empty battery mid-set.

There is a slight learning curve regarding signal blockage if stage positions get extreme, but for me the increased comfort and flexibility outweigh that minor issue.

Overall, my experience with the Shure GLXD16+ dispelled my reservations about wireless guitar systems. Its convenience, sound quality, and intelligent design make it a worthwhile investment for serious guitarists and bassists, whether you're playing smaller shows or larger venues.

ValMat 15.02.2024
I was open minded about this product - just hoped it was as good as it looked and sounded. I need not have worried - it is a fabulous piece of kit.
The sound is not compromised at all - crystal clear. No interference from any of the other equipment.
The kit was easy to assemble and use. Charged quickly and the battery is very long lasting on the wireless kit.
I am thrilled with this product and would recommend it without hesitation.

P
A really solid upgrade!!
PandaBear 23.02.2024
I am yet to be disappointed by a Shure product. This Wireless system is the perfect tool for both gigging and recording guitarists. With a battery life longer than I can play for and a reliable connection that doesn't cause interference and that I cant break this pedal and transmitter work both in an on stage environment and in my studio!

Its really useful to have in the limited space I work in so that if I have artists over they’re not tripping over or getting tangled in cables. The charging for the pack is super convenient too, I can just use the existing usb type c chargers I use for other devices and it works seamlessly. The build quality is fantastic too and I imagine that this kit could take a beating and still be as reliable as a wired connection!

Wireless connection that really works
Titch71 17.02.2024
The Shure GLXD16+ impresses with its focus on practicality and reliability. The extended battery life, offering up to 12 hours of operation, is a standout feature, ensuring longevity during extended performances. The convenience of USB-C charging from the transmitter adds a modern touch, and the ability to get 1.5 hours of use from just a 15-minute quick charge is a game-changer in critical gig situations.

The inclusion of a tuner with needle and strobe modes enhances the pedal receiver's functionality, providing precise tuning options directly within the system. The 1/4-inch input for cabling in and compatibility with 9V DC power further contribute to the versatility of the GLXD16+.

Moreover, the capability to link two or more transmitters to the receiver allows for uninterrupted instrument swaps, offering flexibility to musicians with multiple instruments or those involved in complex live setups. This adaptability makes the GLXD16+ a reliable and user-friendly choice for musicians seeking a comprehensive wireless solution.
