As someone who’s relied on the Shure SM58 for years, I was interested in trying the Nexadyne 8/S, and it didn’t disappoint. To my ear at least, this mic brings noticeably more clarity to vocals. When I tested it with the front of house, they barely needed to make any adjustments - great sound quality and balanced frequency response.

In a tight rehearsal space, it performed well—no feedback issues, even at higher volumes, and I could hear myself clearly over the rest of the mix. The cardioid pattern seems to effectively focus on the vocals while minimizing ambient noise, which made a big difference in such a small space.

Overall, this mic feels like a fantastic upgrade - and , of course, it's still a Shure. For me, it’s a solid choice for both live performances and rehearsals, and it handles both close-up and moderate distances well. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to take their vocal clarity up a notch!

f
bit expencive for what it is , it could be a nice 150-200E mic

compared to a beta 58 , beta has clearly better sound than nexadyne

top end was smoother on 58 for sure and i believe mid too..
lows was always bad on shure mics so its on nexadyne too.. bad maybe a bit better than 58 on the lows witch you cut anyway

HIGH air frequencies on nexadyne has less clarity and sounds like an 180kbs mp3 thats unnacceptable on 360E mic

-nexadyne tend to feedback easier than beta 58
-nexadyne needs more time to make it sound good than a 58
-nexadyne has less pop plosive reduction

the pros was ..
+the feeling while singing on a nexadyne was better
you feel the mic more responcive to vocal agility and all your technics belting or chest or head voice sound better, while the 58 tend to make your uglly spots apear more all the time, wondering what you are doing wrong ..

the second is that the mic has the best proximity effect i have ever seen ...
you go far and it still has lows... thats impresive.. and thats the only reason i will keep this mic on beta was ok .. but if you go back you sound extremly tiny , on nexadyne you dont have this problem
you go back and your voice is still huge

i believe the best usage on this mic is to always keep an inch away from mic .. really really close lip touching doesnt sound that good
