Good package

I needed this for vocals, and is very usable. The mic stand is a little on the thin side. This isn't a big deal but its a little less secure because of that, but mostly because I use a Hercules iPad clip, and its too thin for the clip to attach to the stand. Otherwise its fine. The cable is good quality, I've had it for a year now and its still working fine. The microphone is still in great condition also. For those who haven't tried a 57 before they're worth getting. they're strong and can be used from micing amps all the way to rock vocals and everything in-between . they can take a few drops too. always have one in your bag

N
Sure SM58 Microphone with Stand and Cable
Neil9166 15.04.2015
The SM58 has been an industry standard for as long as I can remember. I bought my last one over 20 years ago and it only failed because some Dim-Witted punter spilt beer all over it! My old SM-58 worked without fault right to the end and that must be an indication of how well the SM-58 is made. 20+ years; now that's what I call a field report :-) I've lost count of how many times the microphone ended up on the floor because a stand got accidentally kicked over - but never a hick up.

The only difference with the new mic. is that its is all shiny and 'new looking' otherwise it sounds just the same. A great microphone for backing vocals, which is what I mainly sing. I know lead vocalists tend to think they need something more exotic but honestly the SM-58 will do everything a vocalist could ask of it in a live situation and it has the benefit of being able to withstand the knocks and abuse which are part if gigging.

I bought the SM-58 with the Millenium MS-2005 stand and sssnake cable as a package and Thomann did a fantastic deal on package. Once again the Sales Team at Thomann beat the competition on price.

Easily the best deal for begginers and intermediate users alike!
skryptus 20.01.2014
To get this started I must say I'm a begginer. I bought this set in order to record some ideas, and maybe eventually some full songs, through my M-Audio Black Box. And while I can't speak for more advanced users (who might want a more feature-full mic, better quality cables and a tougher stand), I believe this combination will hold strong for most begginers and intermediate users.

The mic quality is excellent. There's a reason the SM58 is an industry standard, specially when it comes to record voice. Everyone seems to use it, from small clubs and home users to stadio-filling legends. There are sure more expensive mics with more features, but for many of us its quality is more than enough, providing clean and clear sound.

Then there's the accessories. The stand and cable in this pack are great complements to the SM58, and of great use for most. Although I won't say it'll fill the needs of more advanced users, who might want a sturdier stand or a high-fi-quality cable (both of which come at quite higher prices), the average user (including those with some road time ahead of them) has great value in this pack. The stand is sturdy and easy to mount (I had some experience with this though), and the cable does not muffle the sound in any way (despite its length).

So yeah, you got a recommendation for me (for what good that might do).

DR
Industry Standart for Good Reason
Dave R. 09.12.2014
This is a fabulous offer. Ever since I can remember, the Sure SM58 is the industry standard singers microphone of choice. On its own, it is well worth this price. But, for just a few more euro, this bundle offers a 10m quality lead and a decent boom stand into the deal.
If you need a good vocal microphone, get yourself this bundle. You cannot beat it for value.

You can't go wrong with a SM58
Stephane4242 20.11.2013
Clearly the best mic for this price. You can't go wrong with a SM58 for vocals. I have tried several cheap ones and in no time they make the whole system feedback. with Th eSM58, nothing bleeds, just the vocals (or whatever you are recording) is captured. No feedback and that little switch on the top gives you extra control. Excellent product

O
Super!
Oriel 15.11.2013
I was planning to buy the Beta 58 but at the end I have decided to go for SM58 for the reason that I will get experience first and get it next time. The time that I have tried it, I never expect that it is very good microphone and I am not sure if I am still going to upgrade soon but maybe. It is really a heavy duty microphone and well made. I would recommend it for newbies that starting to sing!

Have yet to try out this product to the full. Once I have found my way around my Tyros I shall have a go at singing in a manner someone might like to hear.
The only thing I can say, is that the microphone is from America and the warrenty is for that continent alone. There is no warrenty for abroard, I could find. But again I'm sure Thomann's sales warrenty would cover the warrenty period for this item.
P.S. It is very heavy. I'm not a microphone man and so never handle them on any sort of a basis, but this a heavy object. If heavy is a sign of quality, then this is quality.
