On opening the Moongel plastic tub I discovered that all the pieces were stuck together in a jelly like blob!

Separating them was quite a job and their shape was unavoidably altered as a result.

Sonically they work well and careful placing can achieve some interesting effects.

I'm looking at other products now and will not buy the Moongels again as they would be hell to deal with on a gig or session.

this does what it says it dampens over tones it is quick and easy to use. the reason i give it a bad rating is because is stained my new drum kit. im very disappointed i have a purple patch on the top of my kick drum which will no doubt reduce the resale value.
