Great Reverb - it brilliantly does small vintage amp, surfy and crazy if you want it to.

The Reverb
I wanted a simple but useful Reverb with enough variety in the settings to have a good play with as well. This ticks all the boxes for me. The mini switch offers 3 types of reverb to the left is the rocket a small amp type just enough to replace the one built into your standard one speaker combo. Middle setting is for a surf like sound based on a Fender super reverb and the last setting is their own over the top floppier springs and basically more of everything. There is something for everyone here and all 3 settings are usable. Non of the 3 settings gives you a perfect drip if thats what you are after but the middle one comes close, but they all sound great either way.

Modulation
As a bonus when you hold down the switch it triggers modulation mode which can be set to be on all the time after holding on used with the dip switch in the back for a latching use. You can also set the trails/buffered bypass with another dip switch in the back. This pedal is not really for the ambient players arsenal but would probably be good for some of those players if used with a volume pedal as it has plenty of reverb length on tap. I use it with a blues junior and the pedal gives way more control than your accutronics tank you will find in a small combo amp. The pedal sounds way better than any of my 3 amps built in units as well.

The knobs
Decay sets the amount of times the sound bounces back in the tank more means longer. When the Level is set to zero its just your guitar and as you raise it it will mix in the reverb even at full setting you don't lose volume or tone from your guitar like most others do. Dwell sets how bouncy you want it to be keep it down for a warmer sound and up for more splash. Body sets how chunky you want the tank to be keep down to cut through and up to fill it out. The dwell and body knobs also double up for speed and depth when setting your modulation to do this you have to hold your switch in while setting once set you will have to return your dwell and body to how you had them. 2 extra knobs would have been nice for this but once you get use to it its no bother besides the modulation part is an extra feature. Once you have made the setting the pedal remembers it.

The booklet that it comes with has some good recommended settings but its easy to find a setting that you could set and forget for a gig. It comes with nice packaging and a pointless bag inside the box. The price is a bit high as well but to me it is worth it once you plug it in, a great pedal for anyone who does not need 10 modes like some others have.
