Signal loss is major

I made two 6m guitar cables using Neutrik connectors. When I first plugged it in, I thought it wasn't working because the loss of signal was so severe. I double checked my connections and they were OK. Something is wrong here if only myself and one other review mentions how bad the signal loss is. I suspect short cables only for this stuff.

This cable is a mess

I am soldering a lot and I am using very nice equipment. Unfortunately, this cable is very sensitive to temperature, as it seems. Soldering connectors to it does not work without a certain amount of heat. You have to be REALLY careful to not destroy the insulation. This cable is much too expensive for this kind of performance!
