Wore through quickly
Tomashu 13.11.2013
I thought I'd try these out since a few of our stands needed something to protect the cymbals. At first their rubber felt really nice and the cymbals played great, but, pretty soon after having fitted them they had been gnawed through by the cymbals.
Not sure if this was caused by our cymbals being a bit worn or not, but we swapped them for harder plastic protection.

Having doubts
GoncaloSilva 18.09.2020
Got this in the mail one day ago and I'm already seeing some wear done by the cymbals. So far they are doing a good job of protecting the cymbals and allowing them to move freely so I can take advantage of the sustain but I'm afraid the cymbals are going to cut through them eventually.

Great protectors!
Anonymous 23.09.2016
My old protectors were destroyed during of playing so I needed a new one. I took this Sonor protectors because they seemed to me good, and cheaper than others.

I'm very pleased, they protect cymbal well and I like they are designed to have more rubbery structure. The old ones was made of too hard plasti, so they were exposed to destruction.
With a new ones I have no problems!

I couldnt use these!
R. Faber 06.06.2019
They only work on 6 mm (mostly vintage) stands. I know that the '6mm' is clearly in the title, but I thought it would be fine, but i cant use them on my stands (and most other stands!).

The quality is fine I guess. They are rubbery instead of the hard plastic sleeves I mostly use.

Check your stands before buying these!!!

Very good for thin cymbal stands
Punkin 11.09.2017
Good protection for cymbals on stands, necessary for every drummer. These are made extra thin for those stands that aren't so thick.

Works good

Not much to say here. They work fine protecting the cymbal from the metal of the stand.

Who knew, they do what they say!!

Could be cheaper though, really. It's only 6€, but ok, still, it's a bit of plastic, you'd better not pitch it up, I warn you! I shouldn't complain though, I probably should just have chosen guitar.. If only I had looked for the prices of drums, accessories and good cymbals before start

Good protection for smaller rods
Anonymous 03.12.2016
These are 6mm cymbal sleeves. Are rubber as opposed to plastic so feel a bit more durable. They don't screw in however like other sleeves which is no big problem but good to know.

Good For The Price...
Anonymous 23.08.2016
Good quality items and don't fit to every cymbal stand or arm so be careful and measure what you need before you buy it!
