This is a well made product, as you would expect from Sonor. It is sturdy but lightweight. Fits well onto a Sonor cymbal stand, and once it's tightened with a standard drum key, it stays fixed throughout a 3 hour session. The plastic insert protects the chrome on the cymbal stand, so it's not a worry to have it very tight.
