Großer Nachteil - technisch bedingt - ist die Instabilität in Querstellung. Somit ist die Traverse nur in hochgestellter Ausrichtung verwendbar, sofern man sie etwas belasten möchte.

Optimal hingegen sind sie als kleines Licht(halte)set auf Stativen montiert oder - wie wir sie im Einsatz haben - als Gibel für kleine Trusszelte in Verbindung mit Doppelschellen oder für alle Befestigungs- und Stabilisierunggeschichten - ebenfalls in Verbindung mit Doppelschellen.
