Compared to other 3w LED fixtures we have had in the past these are exceptionally well built and can take the odd knock or fall - they were recently booted off a 1m tall drumstage by a clumsy drummer when being used as uplighters and came away with barely a scratch.
Our use of these varies between on stands or as uplighters for effect lights, or as colour fills installed in a small school theatre and they are effective for both. With obviously no focus possible, these are not suitable for front-of-house lighting.
Pros:
Durable, sturdy enclosure
Clamps and fixtures feel robust and up to constant changing
Colour mixing is good - subtle changes to vivid extremes are both possible
Cons:
Small 'snap' off when dimming to blackout - seems like the lights will fade smoothly from 100 to 10, then snap down the final ten. Not so much of an issue when doing quick fades to black, but quite obvious when doing slower fades up from black. Setting the fade times slightly behind the FOH lighting mitigates this somewhat.
Included powercable - as most people will daisychain these together, a M/F cable would be more use for most people buying a number of these, rather than receiving a short normal plug with each (maybe this could be a chooseable package option Thomann?)
Overall - very good for the price, and would do well out and about on-the-road.
