Quality keyboard on the cheap

I was looking for a cheap keyboard for my kids to play and found this Startone mini on Thomann. It's been in heavy use since Christmas and I can say without reservation that it's done the job admirably.

There are lots of sounds to choose from (kids love the dog barking, I like the organ), decent amount of rhythm options, and some songs.

For a beginner player curious about keyboard and certainly for kids, this is a good option to dip toes in that world. While it's plastic, it's been very durable so far. Would not hesitate to purchase another keyboard from Startone.

Bought as a gift, I don't think you can find any better for this price. Sounds OK, plays nice, with headphones and batteries and small size you can just play it anywhere you like.

I didn't expect much but I'm so glad I ordered it as my son absolutely loves it.

Pros: price, sound, sound library, batteries last long, intuitive for a four year old

Cons: song library could be more oriented to children, but still it's just a minor complaint
