I always run a drying cloth through the sax after playing, which mops up most of the moisture. But the fluffy fibres on this extend out through the ports to dry the pads also.

Definitely enhances the life of the sax and tends to give fewer problems with the pads.

...and unlike a cheap one I bought from a well know online auction site, the end doesn't keep falling off!

I think this is the perfect swab, bendy, soft en absorbant. First of course you pull the other one trough, and then to finish it off, you swab this one around :) very nice
