I was playing a Wick 6BS on my B&H Sovereign Baritone, but wanted a mouthpiece that was slightly deeper and has a rounder rim. However, I find the Steven Mead mouthpieces too deep.
I ordered the Stork T1 based on specs, and I am very impressed with it. The size is often compared with a Bach 6 1/2 AL, but it is a completely different mouthpiece, with a much deeper V-shaped cup.
The cup depth and shape help to get a full sound , without becoming a euphonium sound. The rim feels very comfortable and the roundness allows for more flexibility, while the inner edge actually helps in articulation.
The weight of the mouthpiece helps in slotting, an allows for loud playing without breaking up as is required in brassbands regularly.
As you can read, I am very happy with the mouthpiece and strongly recommend it as a baritone mouthpiece
