Bought it as a second pair for reference use. Very happy with them, though. Of course I wouldn't use them for professional purposes

Not exactly brilliant, but useful
Fabian. 17.02.2014
I use the Superlux HD-662 as monitoring headphones in the studio. It is very useful for this specific usage and it is not as bad as you could expect for this price when it comes to sound quality – but it’s not exactly brilliant. When you are on budget and maybe need more than one headphone this can be a cheap solution.
+ cheap
+ almost no crosstalk while recording
- not very detailed in sound quality
So if you need a cheap headphone for monitoring or the like, take a look at the Superlux HD-662. But when it comes to mixing or mastering do yourself a favour and spend more money and buy for example the beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO or the AKG K-271. Believe me, they’re worth their money!

Ok as a spare.
Anonymous 24.12.2015
Bought these headphones as part of a interface bundle. Already have loads of headphones but couldn't turn them away for the price. Material seems to be of a medium quality. To be honest I don't think these would stand the test of time but that will have to be yet seen. Sound is fairly flat which is good for mixing. headband adjusts to the users head but I find them to be quite uncomfortable after 10 or 20 minutes. OK as a spare but to be honest thats about all I would use them for. Come with a nice little bag and a screw on quarter inch jack which is nice.

You get what you pay for

My only issue is that they are not very isolating and if i have a singer or an acoustic guitar player sometimes the mic picks up the metronome click

This Superlux HD-662 have a nice sound, but they are a bit unconfortable cause they actually are very tight and not adjustable.

Nice Sound but uncomfortable
George A 15.09.2017
I use these headphones for my home recordings.
I really enjoy the sound quality of these headphones, they are really good but I really can't wear them for more than 20 minutes, my head and ears hurt everytime I use them because of their tight fit around the ears even fully opened.
I wouldn't buy it again for sure only because of their comfort lacking.
