All in all super, does what it says on the tin.
I decided to purchase this pedal following the purchase of another T-Rex pedal, the diva drive, and after a great experience with that, I decided to give this one a try. I'd been looking for a reverb pedal with spring, but versatile enough to use as a good all rounder at the end of a chain of 4/5 pedals, as I don't care for too many on the board (for now, at least!) So it's the first reverb pedal I've been playing consistently with.
It performs great, well built of course - really brightened up everything on the chain in a very nice way and adding plenty of room and - can you call it(?) - 'cream' to the sound, playing hard rock but also great for surf sounds and more bluesy cleans. It really wins on the clean tones and if you're amp reverb just isn't going to cut it or you want some extra versatility of this crucial musical ingredient at your feet.
There are of course some reverb pedals out there with more features but if you're looking for something very straightforward and easy to use - it does what it does it does very well and gives you a very good range from very subtle to cavernous reverbs when the decay and the reverb knobs are up high. Most of the time though, I find it's better bringing it in on softer settings, particularly if you like playing with buckets of gain.
The best thing I really do rate about the T-Rex pedals is the Tone knob, so you can mix the amount you need in with your clean existing analogue signal. This is must as it really keeps it subtle and it doesn't have in any way a digital feel to it when you engage it, in my view. That is the feature that I like the most about this pedal.
All said - I'm very pleased with it - would recommend - bravo!
