TAD Cap Orange Drop 47nF 600V

Works perfectly and does it's job, but it is really big. Beware if you don't have much space on the cavity.

Used for a guitar project and it just works...
Watch out for the dimensions, they are pretty big, roughly 3cm long and 1cm in diameter.

I bought this to replace the CAP in a 7 String guitar.
The sound before was tinny and unfocused, however after the cap replacement it is much more defined and has a nice body to it.
Great cap if you're looking to upgrade a cheap guitar and give some more dimension to it's sound.
Will definitely be using these in future projects.

I bought this as a guitar cap and was surprised to see its pretty big and bigger than I had seen before. This is due to being 600v as opposed to the usual smaller 100 or 200v caps you see inside guitars. It still works fine it just means more room is taken up in your control plate cavity. I think these are meant for amps but dont worry they work just fine in your guitars to.

Put this in my heavily modded Squire Tele. It has a great vibe and sounds great. The guitar has a five way switch and the cap makes the tone knob more useable than the stock one. I turn it down to make the neck pickup smooth as butter, and it tames the out-of-phase switching nicely when that’s needed. When it’s switched to series and I tone it down it simulates a humbucker nicely enough. The size can be an issue, but the five-way takes up more room in my case.

Great capacitor, sounds much better than my old one.
The only problem was that it was much bigger than my old one, so it was a bit of struggle to get it inside my yamaha pacifica 012
