Great tube
Bought this tube for my taga tha500 hybrid heaphone tube amp. Definetly miles ahead of the stock 12ax7 chinese tube that came with it. But it is not intended for hifi use, it is meant for guitar amps and that is where it shines. On headphone or speaker tube amp, it gives kind of a overdrive sound to verything once you pass certain volume level. Still good, but not optimal for hifi.

good and solid
I replaced all my 12ax7 tubes from my marshall TSL 601 with these TAD ECC83 tubes the only thing I really notice in the tone is that they made it slightly warmer which gave the marshall a much nicer clean tone for blues music which I love so a big plus one for me
(but don't worry the treble is at 12 o clock so plenty of room to make it a bit more brighter for you country players).
The build quality seems to be good and no sign of failure after 25 hours of playing so all is well very happy with the product i recommend trying them out

Great for a practice amp
I would not use these in a top level amplifier but for a small practice amp these were good. I like quite a low, bassy tone so the sound was spot on and quite warm.

this tube has good gain but it is noisy, to much for my taste.
