I love this pickup I use it for live performance from small venues to theater and also in the studio it just performs anywhere and it is discreet enough and doesn't get in the way or affect the sound when not in use just playing acoustically.
The pros are great battery life and performance lasts for a long time fantastic looks and of course the tone is amazing,
Cons I haven't found any yet although I did get a little picky setting up the pole pieces to perfection but now its done I never need to touch them.
Outstanding performance for a pickup put one in a high end guitar or fit one to a budget guitar to enhance your investment then if you come to upgrade your instrument take your pick up out and refit to your new guitar
This pick up is just for me an industry standard a very natural sound great looks and build quality I would definitely recommend to others and I wouldn't hesitate to buy more great buy.

Takamine TRI-AX

For live performances, this pickup is a great addition to my Takamine Pro 7 NC particularly, or for any electro-accoustic guitar. Why? It allows input from the body (slaps and string noise) and some slightly old-fashioned pickup behaviour. In my case, because the Tak can mix this with the built-in Cool Tube pre-amp, this is something to add and subtract from the performance. A thin sliver of cork between the grips on the sound hole prevents marking to the guitar body, without affecting the sound qualities. Splendid thing to have to move 'electro' closer to 'acoustic' in a live gig.

Designed by LR Baggs, the Takamine TRI-AX 2 is the perfect way to amplify your acoustic guitar. Lovely warm tone and very reliable.
