Was my first time this little burger broke. So i went to order new one.
Got to say that this spring is a mystery.
First one broke after roughly 1 year of use . Which was a big suprise for me.

Not good not terrible.

I don't know why, but my pedal just feels better with these springs. I broke the original spring on my Tama powerglide. Replaced it with a generic type but when I obtained the Tama HP900-7R Regular TensionSpring my pedal was back.

Always keep a spare!

Great product and vital for use with Iron Cobras. They generally last really well. I've broken two in the 6 years I've been using Iron Cobras. If it's going to break, it'll break at a bad time - always carry a spare!

I've had this spring on my IronCobra for years before it wore out, so I needed to replace it.

Though I bought this for a gig spare it was worth making sure it fitted. (just in case)

I'm pleased to say that it did, and perfectly!

I have snapped 2 of these already and I find this disappointing given that Tama is such a stand up brand. I ended up going for the heavy duty spring they have available. Not much difference in the tension but it hasn't snapped yet!
