Best hi-hat stand for this money
Valta 27.07.2021
I bought it a few months ago, It is simple and looks reliable. Highly recommended for beginners drummers as main and professional drummers who need an extra hi-hat stand.

Professional quality, hobbyist price
cutedaddy 03.11.2020
Good quality, nice finish, easy to adjust and handle, easy to look at. I think Tama sent a QC-team to China, or else i can't imagine how such a fine peace of hardware is made available to us lucky musicians for around one hundred euro!
It's sturdy and stable, yet not heavy.
The 5-position rotating spring tension system is the simplest hihat adjuster i ever had.

For the price, it's unbeatable
Anonymous 17.03.2016
Having used a lot of cheap cymbal stands and Hi-hat stands (because i'm cheap) This one really stands out as one of the better. The clutch that comes immediately with the stand is very tight and has had no grip-issues in the 6(ish) months I've had it, and the parts came without any blemishes or immediate issues visually - not that it would matter anyway. My only real problem with this item is that sometimes if you do a lot of footwork with the hat and lay into it, it can wobble a little, but that would be really picking holes, because that's only on softer surfaces - like carpet. But it does the job well, and has a lot of different setup possibilities with it. But for the price I bought it, i'd like to see anyone find a more solid stand, because this one is build like a tank. All in all, no big problems!

LC
Tama hardware rocks
LL Cool J 25.09.2023
As soon as I set it up, I knew I had a great piece of gear. Well built, sturdy, and has the potential to set your Hi-Hat high like Dave Grohl if you want to, or down low if you prefer. I've got some heavy Zildjian New Beats on it and they feel great on this stand.
Great value for the price, and I totally recommend.

CR
Decent hi-hat stand, some issues
Christi R 29.01.2019
I do think this is a good stand. It doesn't feel incredible but does the job.

Only issue is a few times the rod would get stuck tight on the foot pedal making it difficult to unpack fully for travel. And the only way to remove it was to twist the baseplate fully hence removing the chain.

Might not buy again but still works for now.

Good for the price

In my view a good quality pedal for the price, the only thing I wasn't happy with is the claw clamp is bare ribbed metal and leave dents on the hoop of my bass drum so make sure you get so additional rubber protector.
