I had bought a new Pearl pedal after using the same model at a rehearsal room and finding it much easier to play than my expensive DW one.
I use one bag for all my hardware when gigging and despite playing a small kit the bag is still very heavy. I put my pedal in with all the other stands so it could easily have a stand break a spring or alter the settings / tensions. I bought this bag primarily to protect the pedal while in the hardware case with all the other stands and it is string enough to do that perfectly. It's actually a lot tougher than I envisaged from the photos.
When I rehearse with another band I take my cymbals, snare and also the pedal and the bag is more than strong enough to protect the pedal. It is very easy to carry as it has a good strong strap. The bag is perhaps a little over sized but that means it can fit bigger, bulkier pedals however. The internal strap also keeps the pedal secure inside the bag.
It's a very strong bag, perfect for a single pedal and much stronger than the pics suggest.
(Why is it so hard to get a bag/case for a single pedal? They are all for double pedals.)

You don't know you need one until you have one
jojothebandit 12.04.2021
Pedals are weird to carry around, especially if you have a lot of gigs, they cling and clang and hit stuff, and they're awkward to hold, and then you get the lubricated part and then you stain yourself, and it's just bleh.
This one is not so expensive and it's built to last for life. It really has very very good quality and is very sturdy.
It such a different feeling to be able to have your pedal packed and carry it around like a normal person.

Long boards fit as well
Animale 17.07.2020
It was a little gamble after I bought a Trick Dominator long board pedal; would it fit in this bag?
Well it does. There's a strap inside as well.
But Tama loses a star because I expect smart solutions from any top brand, and they didn't include an internal, zipper pouch or any other kind of miniature storage for like...a drum key? A beater strap? Something to store small dedicated bass pedal tools?
But besides that, it's a slick looking bag.
Padded good enough to not need a hard case.
And after rehearsals and gigging I can say the beautiful vinyl outside finish remains looking good. Which I didn't expect beforehand.

Low mass alternative to my speed cobra case
Anonymous 22.08.2016
The speed cobra case I used to use was massive (the one tama supplies the pedal in). It did a great job protecting somthing you stamp on, but is a bit overkill.
This soft case is much lower mass, but still is able to fit inside a longer pedal, such is my speed cobra. Fundamentally it also fits into my hardware bag! One less trip to the van.
Very chunky zip, well stitched and some plastic feet to boot.
There's a little Velcro strap on the inside to keep the beater arm pressed to the footplate.
Using this bag also means I don't have to take the beater out of the axel mount, I can just unhook the spring and lay the beater down; saving setup and breakdown time.
Much recommend!

Great bag
Steve E007 06.01.2023
I use this to carry an Iron Cobra pedal. The pedal is a good fit in the bag and the bag is much smaller and lighter than the hard-case which comes with the pedal. The original case takes up far too much space in the car - this small ‘block of cheese’ shaped bag fits easily into to boot in a space behind the rear seats. It offers enough protection for the pedal.

Great Bag
diogoguedes 12.01.2018
If you have a single pedal (any kind, i guess), this pedal bag is for you!
Easy to use, obviously, just put the pedal in, strap it in, and you're ready to go!
Great job TAMA!
