Because of the included Tama cymbal mate (quick clip on/off) which costs already a few bucks on its own.

But...be sure the cymbal mates fit well on the thread, because I already hit them into the audience a couple of times when I placed them on top of the thread.
Always carry back up wing nuts.

I have played abroad on different continents, where you had no option of replacing anything so you had to bring spare stuff along. You learn to be well prepared.
