Good deal with the quick release cap.

There are cheaper alternatives, but Tama puts on their quick release caps on these rods which are already a few euro's by themselves. If you want to save time setting up and breaking down, you want these over a traditional nut.

I use it for an 8" splash together with MC5 clam, however, it seems like it can be used for other purposes. Definitely is strong enough to hold a 14" crash as well
