I am using these in a small home office for editing and general listening through my computer at my desk (I have them on angled isolator pads), and will be sending them back or selling them after trying for a week. The high end is revealing without being harsh, and there is definitely low frequency extension beyond the listed specification, and I like the front porting and available adjustments, but there are a few quality problems here: 1) Self noise is high (amplifier hiss), compared to the cheaper monitors these replaced. 2) It picks up a lot of interference from other electrical signals [nothing else I've used is this problematic]. 3) Gain knobs on the front feel cheap, and quite different from one monitor to the next. 4) Frequency response isn't as smooth as I'd like, particularly in the mid-bass. A tone sweep through 100-300Hz was a disaster of different amplitudes, granted I'm working in a spare bedroom, not a recording studio.
