I've done dozens of hours of research before deciding that these would be my monitor speakers. There's not much info around forums regarding these monitors, but I must say, they did indeed exceed my expectations from the first listen.
The sound is very balanced. Bass extension is decent for the type of music I mix and listen to (garage, indie), so no need for a sub. The best part of these speakers are the mids. They're well defined and natural sounding, without any emphasis. Highs are crisp, without being sibilant.
Stereo imaging is decent, though I've had some weird issues with comb filtering when trying to place them sideways. I realised immediately that they weren't designed to be placed that way, so that's that.
The most annoying thing about them is trying to get the same equal volume out of them (which is crucial to having a balanced stereo image). The volume pot is stepped, but 4 steps on one speaker does not output the same volume as the other with the same volume setting. I found this quite frustrating and ended up adjusting the volume by ear, which worked out fine.
All in all, I think you get more value than you actually pay for, so if you have a nice room to place them in and you don't need advanced HF/LF adjustments on the speakers, don't hesitate to try them out.
