It's a good windscreen, it does the job that is intended for. However, on my Tascam DR40X, it's so big that it covers the entire screen (and of course the headphone output), which doesn't make it really usable. That doesn't really work if you need to hear what your recording or if you want to check the levels of your recording (or any other information on the screen). For this specific recorder, I actually prefer the rycote windscreen intended for Zoom H6 because it's smaller and you can use it perfectly with headphones on. However, if these are not a problem with your recorder, it's a good quality product.
