I tried this little pedal out on several guitars with undersaddle transducers. In all cases it did tend to smooth out the worst of the dreaded piezo 'quack' but in no case did it produce the remarkable transformation that the advertising suggested might be achieved. I also compared it side-by-side using the same guitars via a Fishman Aura 16 pedal, and I preferred the results from the Aura every time. This is not to say it is a "bad" pedal - it is well made (though battery operation would be welcome), and can certainly tame the very worst of piezo squark and harshness, yet it does so at the expense of introducing quite a lot of of muddiness, especially as the single control knob is advanced much beyond about 2 o'clock. I tested it with Martin, Taylor and Breedlove guitars into both standalone acoustic amplifiers and into a high quality PA system using QSC K10 speakers.
