Seems OK but documentation is lacking
Blandrys 18.05.2021
Have only sat with the device for a couple of hours, but the recommended power supply (Thomann NT 0910 AC/PSA) adds so much noise to the signal that I consider the combination pretty much unusable. Maybe I was unlucky and got a B-unit, but I would definitely recommend against buying that power supply to use with the Ditto+. All items (amp+ditto) were connected through a power conditioner strip. When the power supply is not plugged in and the device is in pass-through mode the signal is clean and noise free.

The device comes with basically no manual except for a quick-starter page, and the Extended Play function (or how to use it) is not mentioned anywhere. I had to google to find out. Same for info on how to update the firmware. Also no info on how to find out what the present firmware version is.

Apart from that it seem to be as advertised, but I feel so disheartened by the hissy sound that I won't be using this until I get a more high-quality power supply sorted. I might extend this review once I get a chance to play with the device hum-free, presuming that is still on the table. Might also update my start ratings at that point.

I found it quite hard to sync the loop start and end properly but maybe that will improve with practice.

EDIT: finally got a replacement power supply (Harley Benton PowerPlant ISO-1 Pro) and now the sound is excellent with no distortions or hiss.

Having used the device for a while now I think it's a great little thing, but it does get really confusing with only a single button to control all the functions (play, stop, record, undo/redo). Occasionally you end up accidentally deleting the entire track and then - and this is really stupid - once you delete the main track you can no longer use undo to get it back! Undo only works on the last take. This should really be changed by the manufacturers. Others than that, quite happy with it.

Firmware update required!!!
lorenzozollo 23.01.2024
unfortunately the pedal does not record the initial part of the second overdub and the subsequent ones. There is therefore a delay between the moment the recording is started via the footswitch and the start of the recording itself. Currently the latest firmware update (1.4.0) has NOT resolved the issue!

Not good for backing tracks
Wiltrea 24.11.2021
I bought this to jam with backing tracks, and with 99 tracks and 60 minute loop time and unlimited dubs, i didn't think this was going to be a problem. However there is hardly any space on it! I fit 5-6 tracks, which I had to cut down quite a bit.
The tracks also have to be 16-bit wav files which doesn't help, little surprised it doesn't recognise mp3.

Also it would be nice to have some indication of the file name on screen, or at the very least keep the file name on the device when you reconnect it to your computer. It renames them back to "Track (X)", which I found annoying.

The pedal itself is small, sturdy and seems well built.

Overall i'm pretty disappointed with it, especially from what it promised it could be.

Solid, simple looper, but causes interference
wilson_smith 11.01.2022
Pedal is solid and simple to use. It doesn't have every loop function one might need, that is not it's purpose. It's purpose is to be easy to use. If you need more, get a loop station.

My only issue is this introduces interference into the signal chain that comes out as clicks and hiss in the speakers.

I have quite a few components, and a pc in the whole chain and the ditto is the only one that causes this. This makes it fine for practice but not so good in when recording.

Still a great practice tool

worth the upgrade from old ditto
asdsd 20.01.2022
apart from you have to memorize saved clips's positions, it's great for home use. Still haven't plugged it into my pc though. Wish it could be USB powered when it's connected to the pc, but it apparently isn't.

Disappointed so far
Looperguy 18.11.2020
As a simple looper, the Ditto+ is fine, but one of the main reasons I bought it is to practice with backing tracks. I've loaded several in different formats - MP3, AIFF, WAV - none of the work. When I select the track all I can do is loop, not play back. Their documentation and their video say you can do it, but neither tell you how.

Easy, straightforward looper
El Tauro 06.03.2022
Great looper, easy to use, and a great choice for storing/recalling riffs or working out songs.

The output audio quality could be better but for the price I have no complaints.

Perfect
ananas_1794 13.04.2024
The Looper has a great sound and is very easy to use. I also like that you can save up to 100 loops that can be very long.
It is perfect for practice with your own backing tracks but also for playing polyphonic songs on your own or experimenting with writing own music.
You can vary the volume of your loops and see where you are in your loop.
I would totally recommend it to anyone who needs a simple loop pedal as it fulfils all my needs.
