Nothing wrong with it; not quite what I was expecting

Solidly built, knobs feels good, soft-touch switch is nice, all metal enclosure at this price is great. Typical TC quality, it's a tank.

I was looking for a cheap fuzz, and a lot of places online call this a Big Muff-style pedal - it's not. It never gets that creamy, violin thing going on, it's always a buzzy, vintage fuzz. The tone control is kinda Muff-ey (it's doing a lot of stuff, not just rolling off top-end), but with a bigger range - I think it'll probably work pretty nicely on bass.

Can't argue with that price though, probably going to check out some other stuff in this line.

Does exactly what it says: fuzz as sweet as honey, maybe a bit too tame for my taste. Supposedly based on muff circuitry, but missing that grit of that original. Stacks wonderfully with overdrive.

TC Electronic interpretation of Boss Fuzz

I wanted to test TC Electronic budget series of pedals and I chose this one. When I bought it I thought it a clone of Big Muff - but it's based on Boss FZ3 (as far as I remember). Still it's similar type of Fuzz as Big Muff. A lot of gain and sustain.

Pros:
- Sound - between fuzz and distortion, full, fuzzy, long sustain. Really like it!.
- Build quality / operation - very good, everything works as it should.

Cons:
- Foot Switch - it works when you release it (not when you push it) - I don't like such solution

The build quality of this pedal is insane, especially considering the price.

The sound speaks for itself, it's a typical fuzz pedal with a nice edge. rolling off your tone knob does wonders, and sounds sometimes even betten than turning down the tone knob on the pedal.
