Don't waste your time and money with other tuners

I've had various tuners in my life, for a multitude of electric, acoustic and bass guitars.

I'm probably a cheapskate which is why I've always only purchased affordable tuners. All of them always had some annoying quirks, or were slow, or just straight out wrong on a certain string, etc.

This one just works. Always. Period. Just get this, forget all the other crap, do yourself a favour.

The only thing I wish it had is rotation, since some of my guitars have a strange shaped headstock (and/or I have pick holders on the back), which means sometimes I cannot easily make it face me when clipping it.

Totally recommended (in case it wasn't clear...)

good and simple

this is a nice and simple tuner. it works pretty well, the build quality is good (the battery cover doesn't close perfectly). handling is great and it seems stable enough! recommended!

Good stuff

This tuner is one of the best in the market. Easy to adjust and bright enough. Plastic, but sturdy. The only complaint is that the on/ off swith is too little for my big hands.

The best in its league

I tried quite a few clip tuners before, including a Korg and a Boss. However, this one by TC Electronic is by far the better one. Here are its advantages:
1. Better readability of the display.
2. Metal clip (compared to plastic in competitors).
There is really nothing to say by way of criticism. Just the right product.

Excellent tuner even on low B string for basses.

I bought a bunch of these for each of my guitars and basses. I prefer this model over the more expensive Polytune model as I never use the poly tune mode (in which you can see which strings are out of tune in one go). Poly mode is useless if you play bass and less accurate than tuning each string separately, so I'm glad that I don't need to pay extra anymore for a function I never use. I liked the black finish of the Polytune model -as these are only available for now in white, but that's hardly a deal breaker for me.

Best bang for the buck clip tuner

I have this one and PolyTune version as well. Don't see much use for polytune function. If anything, it goes to polytune mode when I don't want it sometimes. UniTune version is the one I actually prefer. Physically, they're identical except for labeling.
Very clear and intuitive display, compared to Snarks for example. Snark I like but it has to be at certain angle to be readable.
DAddario NS Micro is the one I like the least. Can't find good place for it on a headstock (despite small size) and It scratched decal of my reissue telecaster (super easy to pile of, but still).

Very accurate, fast and tracks very well. Did have the polytune clip but was getting frustrated as it kept changing between polytune and single note mode even when hitting only one string. This one is perfect.

Acurate and convenient

I just couldn't ask for more. It's configurable enough, simple to use and has two tuning modes: chromatic and strobe. You can also configure your base frequency. Screen visibility is good and it will even rotate it's orientation automatically according to it's position. Solid construction.

easy to use, easy to carry

This is a great tuner, it's fast and works well. The slight issue I had is that the screen cover is a little soft and it feels like it could break under pressure.
