Very handy, but beware...

Very clean solution from temple design audio, very well thought of, but a word of advice,.... don't put it to the pedal first,... big mistake,... lock it to the board first,.. where you want it to be,.. and then press the pedal on the plate,.... maybe not an issue with the pedal that needs just one plate, but for foot controllers and for example Roland gr55 synth that I use I used 4 of those plates,.... so it is next to impossible to get it to the right spot and manage to lock it firm to the pedalboard aiming all the holes..... so as I said, first put it all to the pedalboard, lock it with the supplied screws and then press the pedal/ processor /controller to it,..... now it fits perfectly,..... I wish someone told me this beforehand... I wouldn't ruin 3 perfectly good plates trying to pry it open from the controller.
I know it is cheaper to just get hook tape and put it on the pedalboard, but this really saves time, and looks very cool and professional.

A
Perfect size plate for your Audio Temple Board
Anonymous 04.07.2016
These adhesive plates are perfect for any boss sized pedal, to affix to a Temple Audio board, mine is a Duo 24. Personally I recommend using 2 x medium plates for a big pedal, such as a preamp or a DI, rather than 1 x large, as rubber feet usually get in the way of the large pedal plates, in my experience anyway. Also having 2 x secure points fastening the pedal to the board seems preferable over 1.

The quality is quite high, and I cannot see it ever becoming a case where my pedals will easily become unfastened from the board. I can recommend before fastening to the board, to clearly mark out where you want your pedals to go, keeping specifically in mind, the input and output jacks of all pedals, along with power points, as you want a little bit of manoeuvrability with cables etc. Also, I'd recommend palcing the plates on the board first, and slowly lowering the pedal down on to the adhesive rather than fastening the adhesive plate first. It just seems that little bit easier.

With the medium plates, try to fix it to the bottom of the pedal, that is, where you will actually be placing most weight on the pedal with your foot.

I guess it does what it's supposed to, however I find that the elevation of the pedal makes it just a bit weird when you step on it. I assume if would use more that one so that you would have support on top and bottom of the pedal it would be more stable. In my case, I'll go back to velcro hook and loop.

Wave velcro a bye bye
Fran The Man 30.11.2018
I always wanted to get rid of velcro in my pedalboard. The Temple Audio pedalboards are perfect for a guy like me, obsessed with a neat and clean pedalboard design. The final look is very professional and efficient. Tested on several pedals and on AX8 Fractal Audio.
