I combine the 112 Sub A with an Aspen-Pittman Space Station 3 to emulate a classic Leslie for organs (they require lows, and the SS3 cuts at 100Hz). On occasion, I have also used the combination with a Mackie mixer as a small PA (works well).
For this use, the sub does a very good job. It integrates well with the SS3, it's easy to determine a good cross-over point, and the balance is retained at most levels (the SS3 can be very loud). It takes a little time to find the best settings, but for my use that is more or less a one-time thing.
Connections are as they should be, XLR balanced + 6.3mm jacks unbalanced, with the option to daisy-chain with additional subs.
This is still a small sub, easy to handle (bless it), so it won't produce monster bass for large venues - not by a long shot. But for the organ I have played venues with 100-200 patrons with ease, without tapping into FOH.
Had it for about three years, used it and hauled it around quite a lot, with zero issues. An easy recommendation.
