I bought this to monitor my Nord Stage 2 through after my Roland CM-30 cube monitor proved too quiet for on-stage applications. I looked at other dedicated keyboard combos, but none were lightweight enough with sufficient power within my budget. I then moved to looking at monitors instead and stumbled across this one.
I've used it several times since purchasing it and can confirm that it is capable of putting out a lot of noise, with the added benefit over the CM-30 of being a wedge monitor with 2 angle settings which means I can correctly position it depending on whether I am standing or sitting.
It is fairly light and easy to carry around; the controls and interfaces are positioned on the side within a cavity, which means they are protected from audience mishaps / accidental knocks. Feature-wise, it'd be great to have another input so I can plug another keyboard into it, but as this is a monitor speaker rather than a keyboard combo, it's not really a complaint.
The sound quality is good, it seemed to struggle to push out lower frequencies at first, but seems to have settled down now and allows me to comfortably monitor all that I need to, from pianos to big synth basses.
I will probably look to buy another couple of these as monitors for my PA system; shame they don't come in 8inch variants from a weight perspective, but the A10 isn't too heavy in reality.
