Most of the time it does the job well, when paired with a couple more cables for longer routes, starts to exhibit a noise similar to single coil pickups.

Sssnake cables are good value for money. They seem to well made and don't cost too much. This is not a high end heavy duty cable but gets the job done and you have still money left over for actual instruments.
