its normally used to have my midi keyboard (m-audio keystation) talk to my synth (mininova), absolutly reliable in that regards, has been used with other gear as well.

pros:
Sturdy solid build

No signs of wear with frequent use (frequently disconnecting & reconnecting after transporting)

carries midi data without any complaints

cons:
ehh... it doesnt have any that are apparent with several months of use.

conclusion
considering the price, its an absolute steal !

Good cable

Well, it's a nice, flexible midi cable. Works great, however, I had to apply quite a bit of force to connect it to my audio interface. It was easy to plug in to my midi controller, though, so I'm not really sure if it's my interface midi in too tight or this cable's plug rim is too thick (it does look this way). Other than that it's great.

Feels a bit cheap, but works well

The cables themselves are a bit thin, but that's to be expected given the price. For a home studio environment these are more than adequate.
