Sssnakey but not flakey!

Sssomeone out there should have told me these sssnakes were sssooooo good! Great quality, awesome length options. Super cool colors. What more could you want? It's not the size of your snake it's what it does. Super short midi cables are perfect for a neat and tidy setup. Save some space and suck a sssnake.

Decent fully connected Midi cable

Fully connected 5 pin Midi cable
Will transmit power too.
Available in multiple colors.
Some variation on the cable length: had ranges between 23,5 en 24,5 cm.
Jacks are 4,5cm excluding metal ring.
Very good price/quality ratio if you are not plugging/unplugging the cable often (pins are not the sturdiest, but not crappy at all).

A studio with many hardware synths needs coloured midi cables.

All I can say is that coloured midi cables are the solution if you're dealing with many hardware synths in your studio. I use white midi cables to connect my synths to the midi output of my Synthstrom Deluge sequencer (a very versatile sampler/sequencer in one dedicated device) via a Kenton THRU-12. I use the other available colours of the sssnake midi cables for sending the midi outputs of my hardware synths via a Kenton MERGE-8/4 combo to the midi in of the hardware Deluge sequencer. Each synth has its own midi cable colour. Same colours for synths when one is to the left andcthe other is to the right of the Kenton MERGE-8/4 combo.

One drawback is that the merger mixes midi clocks. I have two Korg Prologues that keep sending midi clock messages. I solved that problem by using an Arduino Uno with a Midi Shield running a Midi Clock messages suppressor coded with the help of ChatGPT. Very simple code.

Useful short MIDI leads

These leads are nicely made, as you would expect from SSSNAKE. One warning - they are very short. (Not under length, just short.) Really only useful for connecting MIDI sockets from one rackmount box to the one below/above. (MIDI Thru to MIDI IN for example.) Handy to have to hand, though, and saves dangling cables.

Great little midi cable
