I bought this snake to do away with the previous owner home made individual cables that came with my Tascam 38.

These cables were of different length and not very good quality, they were also confusing as they had no colour codes to make sure each channel was connected to the correct channel from the Tascam back panel to the mixer.

Plus overall disorder that individual cables can make when mixed with other cables going from the mixer to the amplifier, 2nd tape recorder, equaliser, CD player, vinyl turnable, computer etc ...

The the sssnake MPR8030 is colour coded, packed in a rubber sleeve that keeps them together and apart from other cables. I have not had to unplug it since I installed it from the Tascam 38 and the mixer, so now I have two of these for the input and output.

The sound quality is excellent and I have not encountered any issues with uneven or inexistent signal on any of the mono jacks going to the RCA plugs.

Price is also quite correct for this quality cable snake.

T
Cable for many uses and quite convenient
Tazio 22.11.2018
I didn't notice any degradation in audio quality, however, where I use it it's hard to notice if there's any difference. I don't use it in studio, nor in quiet environments, so regarding audio quality YMMV.

For my purpose (live, loud and noisy environment) it serves very well. One star down in quality because plastic "housing" around connectors looks somewhat delicate and it doesn't seem like it will last for a very long time if you don't handle it carefully. As I said in the title, I can't complain for the price.

(Same for me as the other customer above)

I can't complain for the price

I often do live multichannel recording. I connect direct output from my mixing console to audio ins in my recording gear. Most often it's 16 channels, sometimes up to 32. I used to connect each channel with its own cable. That looks really messy and it takes a lot of cables to carry.
The sssnake MPR8030 is ideal cable for decluttering such scenario. I didn't notice any degradation in audio quality, however, where I use it it's hard to notice if there's any difference. I don't use it in studio, nor in quiet environments, so regarding audio quality YMMV.
