The Ssnake 10M microphone cables.
Fragula 27.11.2020
There are only 2 kinds of mic cable really.. Those that are good enough, and those that are not. This one is good enough, and reasonably priced. It sounds the same as my Neutrik/Belden or Cannon/Belden cables, and, unless abused, should stay sounding good for a while.

The pros: it's "good enough" that I can't tell the difference, is competetively priced, and looks good too. (but why none in Green? I like Green for stereo pairs, Port and Starboard!) - good enough I'll be slipping a few more on my next order.

The cons: Ooops.. Sorry, can't find any. :-)

Want a good enough 10M M/F XLR cable? This is one.

Lasting Quality

I have bought these cables a couple of times now and have been very impressed with their quality considering the price. I've rated them only 4/5 stars as I have gotten two cables which had lumping on the metal inside of the male end, meaning they couldn't fit in to my interface. Although I'm sure this is a very occurrence and considering the price, you could buy 5 of these cables for the price of 1 form another brand anyway.

These cables are excellent. That?s all you need to know. I needed a quick fix and they have worked very well indeed. Very strong and sturdy given the relative cheap price. I have yet to have any problems with these XLR's. They come in a couple of different colours which is great if you are working with a number instruments or microphones - colour coding stuff helps so much! Rather than buying something cheap, spend the extra few Pounds/Euros or whatever. Similarly if you are considering buying very expensive XLR's I would strongly consider taking a look at these because they are that good. Highly recommended.

Good Sturdy cables
Anonymous 06.08.2016
Bought these for my drum kit. The red stands out so I don't confuse my cables with anyone else's in the band. I would like if they came with ties for wrapping up the cables. I think they would hold their shape if they did.
I'm not sure how consistent the size of the female end is as sometimes its very difficult to release it from the microphone. This is only a minor issue but in cases where time is at a premium it can hinder the load out process.
if used them for recording and after time (especially on a rim mount for drums) the vibrations cause a rattle on the line when recording. this made one of the cables un usable for mounted use.
I can imagine that more expensive cables do a better job but for the price they are great.
Cables seem to wear out anyways so why pay a crazy price.

budget cable

It is a cheap cable. It seems relatively durable. Good for situations in which you are not going to move it a lot (rehearsal room, at home). I cannot say much about the sound quality as I have not done any comparison. I still prefer other cables for those situations in which I care about the sound, but for anyone one a budget, this works fine.

Vibrant but not tough.

Good cheap mic lead. Beware its really orange! Bought a few of these and always wrap them with a Velcro tie but one had an intermittent issue with signal after a few months of light work. You get what you pay for.

No problem

In my opinion... Very good for studios, great for concerts and halls. In my opinion they are too delicate for open concerts. Good quality. I would recommend.

Good cable!
JRL Sound Studio 27.09.2017
Bought this cables for the color, makes it easier to identify the source ( for example: Red cables for the drums, Blue for the guitars, etc).

Good sound quality and sturdy enough for the studio.
