What comes largely in black and is ubiquitous to all of us recording enthusiasts ? Why XLR male to female microphone cable of course.
Why deviate from the primary colour ?
I would answer my own two questions by recommending an additional mix of coloured XLR cable to assist in quickly solving any problems in circumstances that can arise in tracing a rogue microphone where the setup has many cable runs and time is short. Which black cable is causing the trouble !! – well to me the introduction of a few coloured XLR cable runs is the answer. I use some yellow, blue and red ssnake cables to make life easier. It looks nice as well when drooping elegantly down the microphone stand and might impress the onlookers in a live recording situation ; but that is just showing off as the quality is the same.!
I would give the product a five star rating but I should really wait say three years to see cable has any long term faults which would seem unlikely given inspection of it.

Mic cables are never enough,
it's a good quality cable without a pronounced signal loss, I use it for rehearsals and live recording , being yellow helps to root out easily a drum micing

If you need a long mic cable and don't want to spend too much money, this is a great choice. I bought 2 of these 3 years ago and I still have them and use them constantly for drums and guitar amp recording.
Pros : durability, great price and nice color.
Cons : for this price there are no cons.

Long Lasting

I have bought these cables a couple of times now and have been very impressed with their quality considering the price. I've rated them only 4/5 stars as I have gotten two cables which had lumping on the metal inside of the male end, meaning they couldn't fit in to my interface. Although I'm sure this is a very occurrence and considering the price, you could buy 5 of these cables for the price of 1 form another brand anyway.

Not sure...

Maybe I got a faulty piece. One of the connectors got loose inside and after a year of touring and extensive use, the connector cut the cable pretty much in half. But still, considering the length, it's twice as cheap as any other brand. I'd definitely go for it even if only as a backup cable.

For the price this is the best cable you can get. Also the color is a great addition when you micing up a drum set.
Solid built, though the plug seems a bit flimsy which is understandable for the price.

What's better than good, cheap cables? Colorful good, cheap cables!
No more mix-ups or cable marking in the studio. Everything is nice and clear now.
Not the best but reasonably good and priced.

i bought this cable so i could plug my zoom g3 directly into a pa system what makes these cables great are not only the colour options you can get but also the different lengths available to you i mean even if your on a budget there is a lead for you and they are silent when plugged in no hissing just your sound coming through
