Bad plugs

the plugs are badly assembled on mine- when I try to connect the cable, the tip recedes into the sleeve which is too loose. I had to wrap tape round which is better but not perfect. These parts normally screw together but not on this- I've never seen this before. In the end I removed the plugs and replaced them with proper ones. Consider that a bad speaker cable can damage an amp... so buyer beware.
