T.bone IEM pack.

Does a good enough job for the average semi-professional/gigging musician.
Hasn't let me down with a good enough battery life.
Please make the jack socket components a better quality as I feel this is the one area that lets this unit down & as the most used part should be of the best quality & heavy duty practicality.
Belt clip adequate, would prefer a 'stubby' ariel (like the type that used to be on Ericson mobiles?).

For the money, these are great!
Richard1463 19.11.2015
I've had one of these for a few years and gigged with it many times. It's hard to criticise these when they work so well and cost so little compared with other brands.

It is easy to use. I tend to clip it onto the pocket of my jeans where it feels secure and is easy to get at. It's compact but not fiddly. Changing channels is easy if you have to. I run mine with rechargeable batteries but I always make sure they are freshly charged before a gig and have some spare single-use batteries with me just in case.

The sound is OK , even through the supplied earphones though I use mine with a cheap pair of Sennheisers instead, but I still use the t.bone ones for something else. The only problem is occasionally the sound can drop out for a second. It's alarming the first few times it happens but you can get used to it. I don't know why it happens; maybe it is when the batteries are starting to go flat or when they are being used at the limits of range. The sound is certainly clear enough and there is no buzzy interference. If the sound man can give you a good mix then everything is fine.

We use it as a translation system. I suppose, this system works ok for such a money. One receiver has come with no backlight. Sometimes receivers lose sound for a second due to unfortunate multipath but I assume that you cannot demand from them more for such price. You may want to be very careful with the lid of the battery compartment since it breaks very easily, especially if you use a bit thicker rechargeable batteries.

Good value
Steve84 14.05.2013
I bought this as a second receiver for my IEM system. It's identical to the one supplied with the original system. The sound is slightly hissy but perfectly acceptable in real-world use. The range seems impressive too. Personally I only tend to need a few metres of wireless range on stage, but it seems to go much further.

IEM 100R receiver
pawela 31.10.2014
It is a quite noisy receiver (at least the one I received), which makes it usable only when there's enough noise on the stage (drums, bass guitar, etc). For quiet environments high noise level is irritating.
Receiver is easy to use. Can be loud, if turned to maximum. With batteries is quite light, but feels solid.

Decent for the price

Surely not the best sounding nor the sturdiest out there, but also not the most expensive. The first one arrived with a nasty ground hum but was quickly replaced by Thomann. Included earplugs are among the worst sounding I own as they seem to cut anything above 6k. I use it though for non critical voice reference and it does its job with no fuss: plug a decent set of headphones and it's reasonable.

T-BONE IEM 100 R

In the market of in ear monitor systems I think you are going to have to go a long way to find a product that is as reliable as this for the most amazing competitive price. This is the upgraded model (I have the old model also) and it has yet to ever let me down. With changeable frequencies, you will never have to go without due to someone or something else being on the same frequency. A light weight pack with a good clip which makes for easy wearing. A very uncomplicated simple knob to ensure the right volume feed to your earphones. The new digital display is easy to read and the battery indicator lets you know whether the batteries are full, half way drained or about to give up the ghost. You will never have to change batteries half way through a performance as the easy to read display clearly tells you the amount of life left in the pack. An extremely good range on the system so you should never experience any drop outs. Go grab a bargain, because that is exactly what this is!!!!!
